Bhabhi Thulla (Getaway)
Privacy Policy
Last updated
In short: Bhabhi Thulla stores what it needs to run your account and online games: your player name, progress, coins, friends and matches. Other players see your player name, avatar, level and stats; only your friends see whether you’re online. We never sell your information, and the game has no advertising. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings.
1. Your account
When you first open the game you play as a guest, with an anonymous account. If you sign in with Google Play Games, we receive your Play Games player name and an identifier for your account. We do not receive your email address, phone number or contacts.
2. Information the game stores
- Your profile: your player name and number (for example Name#1234), the avatar and other looks you’ve chosen, your level, XP, badges and game statistics. Other players can see it, for example when they tap you at the table.
- Your progress: your coins and a history of coins earned and spent, daily rewards and tasks, shop items you own, and progress in events. Only you can see these.
- Your matches: results of the matches you play, who you played online with, and the rewards they earned.
- Friends: your friends, friend requests you send and receive, players you’ve blocked, and invites to join a friend’s table.
- Your status: whether you’re online, waiting at a table, playing or idle, and when you were last seen. Only your friends can see it, and you can hide it in Settings (Friends see me: Offline).
- Online games: the players at each table, the moves played and the chat messages sent there. While you look for a Quick Match, the game also uses your phone’s time zone and how fast its connection is, to seat players fairly.
- Voice chat: if you turn your mic on in a room, your voice goes to the other players in that room, encrypted end to end so that nobody else can hear it, us included. We never record or store it. Between friends in a private room it usually goes straight from phone to phone, so each phone sees the other’s internet address. With strangers at a Quick Match table, and whenever phones can’t connect directly, it goes through a relay run by Cloudflare, which passes it on without being able to hear it and keeps players’ addresses hidden from each other. The short messages that connect the phones pass through our servers and are deleted as they’re read.
- Notifications: if you allow notifications, a token that lets us send your phone streak reminders and invites from friends.
- App version: the version of the game you last opened, so we know when an update is needed.
3. How we use it
Only to run the game: your account and progress, online matches and chat, friends and invites, rewards, the shop and events, and keeping play fair (for example, checking results and stopping people from giving themselves coins). We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell it.
4. Analytics and app checks
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is used, such as which screens are opened and on which kinds of devices, through an identifier for the app on your device. It uses Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests come from the genuine game on a real device. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy.
5. Where it is kept, and who processes it
Your information is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), on servers in Singapore. Google acts as our service provider. Voice chat that goes through the relay passes through Cloudflare’s network, also as our service provider, which can’t hear what’s said. We do not share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
6. How long it is kept
- Your account and profile: until you delete your account.
- Match records and match history: deleted automatically within 60 days.
- The history of coins earned and spent: deleted automatically within 180 days.
- Coin pack purchases (the order number, the pack and the account it was for): deleted automatically after a year, even if you delete your account sooner, so refunds can be handled.
- Table chat: deleted when the table closes, and in any case within 1 day.
- Invites: deleted when answered, and in any case within 1 day.
- Quick Match details (time zone and connection speed): deleted as soon as you’re seated or stop looking.
7. Deleting your account
In the game, open Settings and tap Delete account. Your account and its data are deleted straight away, and you are removed from other players’ friends lists. If you no longer have the game, email us (below) with the subject “Delete my Bhabhi Thullaaccount” and your player name; we delete it within 30 days. Details are on our account deletion page.
8. Permissions
The game uses the internet for online play, and asks for permission to show notifications (streak reminders and invites from friends). You can refuse or turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings; the game works without them. It asks for the microphone only when you tap the mic button in a room, for voice chat. Voice keeps going while the game is in the background, with a notification you can mute it from, and stops when you leave the room. You can refuse the microphone and still play.
9. Purchases
Everything in the shop is bought with coins, which are earned by playing or bought as coin packs. Coin packs are paid for through Google Play, which handles the payment under Google’s privacy policy; we never see your payment details. We receive the Google Play order number and the pack you bought, to add its coins to your account once and to take them back if the purchase is refunded.
10. Virtual coins and fair play
Bhabhi Thulla is a free-to-play game for entertainment. It offers no real-money gambling, betting or wagering, and no prizes of real-world value.
- Coins are a virtual currency for use only in the game, and have no real-world monetary value.
- Coins can’t be exchanged, withdrawn, transferred to another player, or redeemed for real money, goods or anything of cash value.
- Coins are earned by playing, or bought as coin packs through Google Play (section 9). Buying a coin pack is the only payment in the game: matches are never played for money, and coins never pay out as money.
- Coins buy looks only (avatars, frames, table felts, card backs and stickers). Nothing bought or won changes how the game plays.
- When few people are online, computer players join Quick Match tables, so nobody waits alone. They play by the same rules, from their own cards only, and never see anyone else’s.
11. Children
Bhabhi Thulla includes online chat and friends, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
